NJ Concert Venues kick off Labor Day weekend with The Jacksons and The Commodores.

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center kicks off Labor Day weekend with R&B legends The Jacksons and The Commodores. This will be the first time these Motown greats will be performing at NJPAC, and it promises to be one of the season's biggest highlights. The venue will also welcome Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Diana Ross, the London City Orchestra, The Price is Right and more.
South Orange Performing Arts Center Theater hosts the Grammy Award-winning Manhattans.. Gerald Alston, the lead singer, and fellow band founding member Winfred “Blue” Lovett reunited the group in the 90s. The Manhattans take to the stage on Friday, September 11, at 8 p.m. A favorite group at New Jersey concert venues, The Silver Stars, will be performing as the opening act. Later in the month, funny man Colin Quinn brings his one-man show "New York Story" to the SOPAC stage.
One Direction returns to MetLife Stadium as part of their 2015 World Tour. They will be appearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, as one of the premier MetLife Stadium events. Their show starts at 7 p.m.
Later in the month, Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean combine their World Tours for one night of great musical entertainment. This is Kenny Chesney's Big Revival Tour, and Jason Aldean will be pulling out all the stops with his Burn It Down Tour performance. Brantley Gilbert, Cole Swindell and Old Dominion are also performing on the show as special guests.
