Jazz in the Garden at Newark Museum!

Do you love jazz? Are you looking for a summer event in NJ? The Newark Museum may have your answer. This summer, the Newark Museum is alive with the sounds of jazz. Jazz enthusiasts and friends can enjoy the 2013 Jazz in the Garden at the Newark Museum on Thursdays, now through August 1, 2013 from 12:15pm - 1:45pm. The annual summer concert series at the Newark Museum in NJ is rain or shine.

The Newark Museum has been presenting all-star lineups for more than 40 years. Every year, Jazz in the Garden takes places in the award-winning Alice Ransom Dreyfuss Memorial Garden at Newark Museum. Come enjoy the 2013 Jazz in the Garden concerts before it comes to an end this August. The upcoming summer performances in NJ include:

  • Duduka Da Fonseca Trio with guest vocalist Maucha Adnet – Samba Jazz and Jobim on July 25, 2013.
  • Claire Daly (Quartet) - baritone sax on August 1, 2013.
